About GLP-1 Cost Guide

What we are

GLP-1 Cost Guide is an independent editorial resource that tracks and compares the price of GLP-1 weight-loss medications — compounded and brand-name semaglutide and tirzepatide — across US telehealth providers. We exist to answer one question honestly: what does this medication actually cost, and from whom, once you account for dose increases, fees, and the 2026 regulatory reality.

Why we exist

The GLP-1 market is full of teaser pricing. Almost every provider advertises a "from" price that reflects only the starter dose and climbs as you titrate up. Most comparison sites publish that teaser, attach an affiliate link, and call it research. We built GLP-1 Cost Guide to do the opposite: record the true maintenance-dose price, the fees, and the pharmacy disclosures for every provider, and to rank them on a fixed, published rubric rather than on who pays us.

How we work

Every provider is scored on six fixed pillars — true-price transparency, pharmacy traceability, prescriber model, regulatory posture, what's included, and plan terms — applied identically. When sources disagree on a price, we flag the entry rather than pick the friendlier number. Every figure carries a verification date.

Independence

GLP-1 Cost Guide is independently operated and is not owned by, operated by, or affiliated with any telehealth provider or pharmacy we cover. We earn affiliate commissions on some links, which never influence rankings. See how we make money and our affiliate disclosure.

Editorial team

Our content is written by health-technology researchers and medically reviewed by a licensed clinician before publication. Author and reviewer identities and credentials are listed on each article. Questions, corrections, or partnership inquiries: see our contact page.

Not medical advice

Nothing on GLP-1 Cost Guide is medical advice. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. Always consult a licensed clinician before starting, stopping, or changing any medication. See our medical disclaimer.

Independent & transparent

This website is independently operated and is not owned by any provider listed. Some outbound links may be affiliate or sponsored links. Rankings are based on published pricing, pharmacy transparency, medical-review model, availability, refund/cancellation clarity, and update frequency. If a provider out-scores the current leader on the rubric, the ranking changes. See our methodology → · Who pays us →
